I purchased two Mac computers in 2020 and was asked if I wanted to purchase an extra one year service agreement for both computers. I paid $129 for one and $99 for the second service agreement.

Nobody ever said it was a yearly reoccurring charge. This year I noticed the charges and called my credit card company. I was told they had charged me that in 2021 and 2022 also and because they were reoccurring charges I would have to call the company. Talked to several people and they couldnt even figure out where to look for this.

Finally someone found the information and cancelled the contract that had just renewed three days before. Was told I would get a refund for both charges but its been 2 months and nothing. When I call them they cant find it again.

I will never do business with them again. I think they are crooks.

Office Depot - Customer Service is Horrible

I called to ask if a discount code could be added, I started great with Marcy. But by the time we finished, I had hung up her.

She tried to tell me that the code could not be used on sale items. I advised her that I had another cart with the code being used. By this time she claimed she could not cancel the previous order. I asked if I could speak to her supervisor she told me her supervisor and manager were on other calls.

I told her I would wait. She said it would be 2hrs or more and she didn't have time to sit on the phone because she had other customers to assist. I told her to give me the corporate number, she rattled it off and I am on hold now going on 35mins.

I normally don't have problems with Office Depot. Not sure what has happened but they need to do better.

Missing package

Office Depot - Missing package
A friend of mine went to Office Depot on February 11th to mail out a package. Your company recieved the package to be mailed out. Since the 11th I have been waiting for my package. USPS never received this package for it to be mailed out. I called the store this morning and the manager would not help me. Someone should be able to tell me why me & USPS is still waiting for a package when the label was made on the 11th! Its either still at office Depot or your employees are stealing packages at your location in Highpoint NC.

Poor in store customer service

I went in to buy printer ink for PIXMA MX522. As a store walked by, I asked if they had this in stock.

First I was told Office Depot didn't carry that brand. I said it was Canon and here is the aisle. He looked and said Office Depot didn't carry that stoc numberf as it was too high, then he turned and walked off.

I was leaving but decided to go through the check-out line and ask again. A associate trainee walked back to the aisle and started looking.

He said the PIXMA 522 is the model number and checked what printer cartridge is used. He found it and I bought one.

The checkout clerk was the same one who refused to help earlier.

It tells a lot about your character, not in a good way, that you encountered two employees, one bad and one good, bought your product, yet are focusing on the negative. To the extent that you recommend not shopping there.

The employee that found your product, I would have noticed his nam for future reference. Instead, you want to go somewhere else.

I just got an email thanking me for signing up to Office Depot Business Select. They want a non refundable uncancellable 49$. Another scam! I never signed up, so yet another Office Depot scam.

I got this same email tonight at 7:27 pm (CST) and I have been trying to contact Office Depot Customer Services via phone, Live Chat, and text and only get a message that they're experiencing technical difficulties. Cannot log in to my account online either.

I have a feeling they are being hacked. I am not sure which, if any, credit/debit cards I have associated with my OD account but I have cancelled one already in anticipation of any problems.

Unable to get my rewards

I brought in 8 printer cartridges on December 22,2023. Asked for a receipt - Sale 224744 Recycling Prog SS.

I tried to claim my credit due me on December 30, 2023. Office Depot had no record of credit due me. I called the Rewards 1-86*-***-**** and was assured that I did have a credit due. I again went to the store on January 2nd and again was denied credit .

I called once again and spoke to Mika and he assured me that it would be entered but to wait approximate 5 - 7 days. Today I went into Office Depot website to search for my rewards due me, and once again it is noted at 0.

I will not go back to the store unless the credit is noted under my name. I will probably do better buying from Amazon.

Store visit harassment complaint

Ray DuPont works at your store off of Pine Island and Nelson. At approximately 8:00 this morning I came in to make copies of some documents off my phone and asked for assistance, Ray seems to have an attitude it was getting mouthy with me as though I know what I was doing as well as getting short with me. At first I took it as a joke but then it got serious real quick. The manager took it upon himself to answer the questions that I needed. So I spoke with the manager about his attitude and he told me that he's working on him and that I'm not the first.

File a discrimination complaint

Went to an Office Depot in Stuart Florida to make copies knowing I wasnt very knowledgeable but that someone would help. Because I never made copies from my phone nor made copies at all. No one was willing to help. Robert and Jenna were extremely rude about it. Robert went as far as to say I cant help you if you dont know how to use your phone. And that its self serve. Not to help no One

Placed online order not delivered on time would take up to 7 days to get back to me.

Placed online order with 3-5 business day delivery. After 6 days, contacted customer service, informed the item shipped on August 14th, but unable to determine delivery date. They will have to contact third party for information and will be up to 7 business days to get response back to me. Because the item has been shipped, they can not cancel the order. Options now is to wait for their reply, they can try to contact the shipper to stop the order, or wait till the item is delivered and contact them about returning item. Again it may take them up to 7 day to get back to me. Not a happy customer
