I purchased a 2-drawer lateral file cabinet through my local Office Depot store. The cabinet was shipped three days later and delivered inside my entrance gate 20 feet from my front door. The package weighed in excess of 150lbs. I have shopped Office Depot in Nanuet for many years for office and school supplies. I HAVE NEVER met an incompetent Manger at this site. Today I was in and asked a simple question re: HP ink. I went to buy a laptop at one of the stores and arrived at 6:20 to find the store closed. However, the website said the store closed at 7:00. I cannot believe they would make a mistake so huge as this. How *** *** to the people working here have to be to make this mistake. Ordered a book of mailing labels on 07/14/14 at store 691 and was told they would call me when it was ready to pick up. Delivery date via tracking was expected to be 7/25/14. The Office Depot mail-in savings center lost my UPC (bar code) label which I mailed to get the refund. As a result, I did not receive the refund - 9.98 for two paper boxes. The only word I have heard from the manager was just ‘sorry’. To me it is not an issue of money - $10 will not make me much richer. That's it - So done with this store and Office Depot. I have used this store a few times because it is convenient to where I live. I do a lot of printing for work.
