Made a purchase at Office Depot online. The item was then incorrectly delivered and never reached our location. Office Depot went to issue a refund to the credit card we made the purchase with, however the credit card recently expired. The same card number was in place, but the expiration date had changed. I will NEVER again order from, use, delivery, shop.. anything from Office Depot EVER AGAIN. 3 weeks ago I ordered a desk, hutch and chair. The chair was delivered no problem. A second delivery had to happen for the desk and hutch. They called on a Sunday to clarify Monday was a good delivery. Went to Burbank Blvd on July 4 with the intention to buy a Laptop. One sales African American clerk for the entire store. However not many customers. bought an antivirus cd. did not download, called AVG and was given a new code to download.this did not download.AVG said to return to it office depot.office depot would NOT give me a replacement because I did not have a receipt.they also said if I wanted to have them try to download the cd it would cost $39.95. as far as I'm concerned they could have looked up my account--useing my phone number--which they had on file. I have been getting passed from one call center (India) person to another regarding a return. I am just trying to get a return authorization number and address. A purchase on-line has become a nightmare of phone calls and buck passing. I am certainly never going to use their on-lone ordering again and am probably not going to buy anything "in store" again, too. This is not a 21st century company by any measure. Mail-in rebate is an scam with Office Depot. We fell on this trap. Sent everything as indicated on the instructions in 5 different occasions last year (different products). Every single time all you get is "sorry we cannot process because receipt is illegible or damaged" What??? Five times? And I even sent a copy of the receipt attached to to the original to avoid the issue. Don't waste your time or your money on this company! Read more

Stop into Office Depot to buy a printer, after waiting over 20 minutes went to cashier nd told her I needed help in printer section and she said she would send someone right back after another 20 minutes went to H H Gregg and purchased a printer in less than 10 minutes!! Had been a Office Depot customer for 20 years not anymore!!

I ordered an Office Depot bookshelf that didn't match the appearance of the online picture. Instead of a solid back, clearly they were slats.That happens. But trying to return it (using their own procedures) was a huge hassle. They didn't return calls or emails when they said they would; they said they needed permission from the manufacturer but the manufactured said they need permission from Office Depot. I received the worse service ever online using office depot (that has not been resolved yet). I bought an A/C online (a couple of weeks ago). After a few days it was delivered (yay), but it was the wrong model (which happens). I've contacted the chat help line and since then it went south.
